Brighton’s Coolest Activity Night Out This December

Espionage Missions provide team-based territorial battles taking place across city centres- and this winter they have come to our favourite Sussex city, Brighton! The format means that locations are split into sectors, similar to the board game RISK.  In teams, players are required to take majority control of the map.  To take over the sectors teams must complete a variety of challenges from code-breaking, forgery creation and problem-solving. All this is tracked online so groups can see who is controlling the territories in real-time.

Espionage Missions are a small and relatively new team building and events company with big ambitions. They began trading in 2017 and have since expanded their reach across 30 UK locations and most recently Ireland.

Amongst this group of key locations Brighton played a pivotal role. Director James Aithie commented- “We have always loved running our ‘missions’ in Brighton. As our games are played within city centers, it adds so much to the experience when the backdrop is as diverse and intriguing as Brighton’s”. And the author couldn’t agree more, from the gaudy and playfully pastiche Brighton pier, through the quirky labyrinth of the Lanes, to the spectacular Royal Pavilion, Brighton really is the perfect playground for playing the game.
