Black Cow Vodka Launches New Strawberry Gin

The Pure Milk Vodka’s first flavour innovation uses leftover fruit deemed too wonky for sale in UK stores

Having recently been invited to the press launch of Black Cow Vodka’s new launch, I thought it apt to show you this little baby myself. So without further ado..

bcv365Black Cow, the world’s smoothest vodka (and I can vouch for this myself), has launched it’s first flavour innovation, ‘Black Cow Vodka & English Strawberries’. Sustainably created at the Black Cow Distillery in West Dorset using locally sourced strawberries that are either leftover or too misshapen for sale in UK stores, this special summer edition is available as a limited edition for the summer months.

BCV & English Strawberries only uses the fruit to flavour the Pure Milk Vodka™, with no added sugar or sweeteners. The berries are pressed and infused in Black Cow Vodka for four days before being filtered and hand bottled at the Black Cow Distillery. The result is a crystal clear, blush-pink vodka packed with natural strawberry flavour that is both creamy and smooth, with hints of almond, vanilla and cinnamon.

The award-winning Black Cow Vodka, first launched by Paul Archard and dairy farmer Jason Barber in 2012, is the only vodka made entirely from whey from grass-grazed cow’s milk left over from the cheese-making process. This is fermented to convert the milk sugars into alcohol that is then distilled, blended and filtered through coconut-shell charcoal, producing an exceptionally smooth vodka with a unique creamy character.
